PetroTech Technical Training Program.
The OERB’s PetroTech Technical Training Program, in collaboration with the Francis Tuttle Technology Center and the Tulsa Technology Center, is a focused technical training program for individuals interested in acquiring the knowledge and certification necessary to pursue a career in Oklahoma’s oil and natural gas industry.
PetroTech is also a valuable training for individuals currently employed in the oil and natural gas industry who are looking to hone their skills, build their résumé and/or seek promotions within their company. Full certification as well as technical certifications/individual class offerings are also available.

Program features.
- Courses are taught by instructors with significant industry experience.
- Fifteen classes are required for the full PetroTech certification.
- Two campus locations (classes offered may vary by location).
- Evening classes from 6 to 9 p.m. are perfect for working professionals.
- Virtual, instructor led courses are also available for some of our class offerings.
- Classes vary in length from one night to six weeks.
- Students can complete the full PetroTech program in as little as 10 to 12 months.
- Classes are offered based on student demand.
