27th Annual Oklahoma Oil and Natural Gas Expo Celebrates with 3,500 Attendees

The 27th anniversary of the largest industry event in the state celebrated the innovations, technologies, and economic contributions of oil and natural gas in Oklahoma with 3,500 attendees at the OKC Fairgrounds Bennett Event Center.

In addition to the main Expo, there were several exciting events that took place this year:

  • Donuts & Doghouses Producer Panel: attendees had the unique opportunity to hear from Greg Shepherd, Mewbourne Oil Co.; Kim Hatfield, Crawley Petroleum; Aaron Chang, Continental Resources; Seth Urruty, Camino Natural Resources; and Garrett Flowers, Eckard Enterprises. Moderated by Joe Brevetti, Charter Oak Production and Heather Powell, Ventana Exploration & Production.
  • 3rd Annual Oklahoma Oil & Natural Gas BBQ Competition, showcasing some of the best oilfield cookers. Tony’s Pump & Supply and TerraStar Inc. won the people’s choice award, and ChampionX was the champion.
  • Raffle for an Icon Golf Cart.
  • NEW Prospect Fair: As part of the main event, the Prospect Fair featured an innovative array of exhibitors, including geoscientists, engineers, landmen, operators, working interest owners, and royalty owners. Companies were able to showcase diverse offerings, from groundbreaking geological concepts to comprehensive company sales.

 

The Oklahoma Oil & Natural Gas Expo is hosted by the Oklahoma Energy Resources Board’s committee for producer education. The OERB works on behalf of the people of Oklahoma Oil & Natural Gas – who are made up of more than 2,500 producers and thousands of royalty owners. We are committed to voluntarily restoring land and investing in education across our state.
