The OERB’s PetroTech Program, offered in partnership with Francis Tuttle Technology Center, provides specialized technical training for individuals seeking the knowledge and certification needed to begin a career in Oklahoma’s oil and natural gas industry.
PetroTech is also an excellent resource for current industry professionals looking to enhance their skills, strengthen their résumés, or pursue advancement opportunities. The program offers full certification as well as standalone course options.

Program features.
- Courses are taught by instructors with significant industry experience.
- Fifteen classes are required for the full PetroTech certification.
- Evening classes from 6 to 9 p.m. are perfect for working professionals.
- Virtual, instructor led courses are also available for some of our class offerings.
- Classes vary in length from one night to six weeks.
- Students can complete the full PetroTech program in as little as 10 to 12 months.
- Classes are offered based on student demand.
