The Oklahoma Energy Resources Board Welcomes Chuck Walton to Board of Directors

The Oklahoma Energy Resources Board (OERB) is pleased to announce the appointment of Chuck Walton to its board of directors.
Chuck Walton serves as Division Land Manager to EOG Resources. He has more than 20 years of experience as a Landman. He has been with EOG Resources, Inc. since 2007. He began his career at EOG Resources as an Independent Landman and was later hired by EOG’s Fort Worth Division to work the Barnett Shale in 2011. In 2017, he was transferred to EOG’s Oklahoma City Division, where shortly thereafter he was promoted to Division Land Manager.
“I am honored to join the Oklahoma Energy Resources Board in its vital mission of promoting industry innovation and environmental stewardship within Oklahoma’s energy sector,” said Walton. āIām eager to be part of the meaningful work of investing in our communities through the advancement of education and environmental restoration in Oklahoma.ā
Walton graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.
The OERB is governed by a 21-member board of directors and funded by the more than 2,500 producers and thousands of royalty owners across Oklahoma through a voluntary assessment. The mission is centered around a simple idea: empowering unlimited opportunity for all Oklahomans. We are committed to the well-being and prosperity of all.
