Heather Powell is President, CEO and leader of acquisition efforts at Ventana. She previously managed various functions across land, business development and regulatory for RKI Exploration and Production, LLC, which merged with WPX Energy, Inc., in 2015. She began her career in 2004 at Chesapeake Energy where her passion for acquisitions and divestitures (A&D) began.

Heather serves on the Board of the Petroleum Alliance of Oklahoma as well as the Board of the YMCA of Greater Oklahoma City, and is active with the Oklahoma City Association of Professional Landmen and Oklahoma Energy Explorers. She also serves as the President of ADAM-OKC Energy Network.
