Record-Breaking Attendance at Bedlam Softball Game Sponsored by the people of Oklahoma Oil and Natural Gas

On behalf of The Oklahoma Energy Resources Board (OERB), the people of Oklahoma Oil and Natural Gas proudly served as the title sponsor for the highly anticipated Bedlam softball game between the Oklahoma Sooners and Oklahoma State Cowgirls, held at Devon Park on April 9, 2025. The event saw a record-breaking attendance of 9,259 fans, setting a new NCAA regular season single-game attendance record.

The game was a thrilling showcase of talent and sportsmanship, with fans from across the state coming together to support their teams. Adding to the excitement, Lindsey Miles, Vice President of Land and Regulatory at Devon Energy and a member of the OERB board of directors, had the honor of throwing out the first pitch. 

“Supporting local sports and education is at the heart of OERB’s mission. We are honored to sponsor the Bedlam softball game and to witness the incredible energy and enthusiasm of the fans,” said Executive Director Mindy Stitt. “This unprecedented game attendance is a testament to the passion Oklahomans have for their teams, and we are proud to be a part of it.” 

The OERB is governed by a 21-member board of directors and funded by more than 2,500 producers and thousands of royalty owners across Oklahoma through a voluntary assessment.
