The Oklahoma Energy Resources Board Welcomes Two New Members to Board of Directors
The Oklahoma Energy Resources Board (OERB) is pleased to announce the appointment of two new members to its board of directors.
Mark Brown is the Executive Vice President of Land and Business Development at Camino Natural Resources. He joined Camino in July 2017, shortly after its founding, and has played a crucial role in the company’s growth and consolidation since then.
“I’m honored to accept the position of board member for the Oklahoma Energy Resources Board,” said Brown. “I look forward to promoting sustainable energy solutions that honor our state’s rich resources, while fostering innovation and environmental stewardship for future generations.”
Brown graduated from the University of Oklahoma in May 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in Energy Management.
Curtis Johnson joined Citizen Energy in its humble beginnings in 2015 as a Senior Landman. Since 2015 Curtis has been instrumental in helping Citizen Energy become one of the largest private operators in Oklahoma.
“The OERB truly embodies the dedication and commitment of Oklahoma’s oil and natural gas industry, said Johnson. “As an Oklahoma Native, I’m excited for the opportunity to join the board of directors and look forward to advancing its mission—cleaning historic well sites and supporting our educators.”
Johnson earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Finance from Evangel University.
The OERB is governed by a 21-member board of directors and funded by the more than 2,500 producers and thousands of royalty owners across Oklahoma through a voluntary assessment. The mission is centered around a simple idea: empowering unlimited opportunity for all Oklahomans. We are committed to the well-being and prosperity of all.
