As a lifelong native Oklahoman and having family already in the oil patch, it did not take long for Curtis to find himself gravitating toward the energy segment. He began his oil and gas career working in the Gulf Coast region at Cimarex Energy Co. (“Coterra Energy Inc.”).
He joined Citizen Energy in its humble beginnings in 2015 as a Senior Landman. Since 2015, Curtis has been instrumental in helping Citizen Energy become one of the largest private operators in Oklahoma.
Curtis graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration and Finance degree from Evangel University. Curtis has served on the board of the Tulsa Association of Professional Landmen and on the Tulsa Autism board. He is an active member of the Tulsa and Oklahoma City Association of Professional Landmen, Petroleum Alliance and the American Association of Professional Landmen.
When not at work, Curtis can be found on a basketball court or football field helping coach his two kids.
