Chad Haglin grew up in northern Minnesota where he gained a lifelong appreciation for the outdoors. He graduated high school in 1991 and enrolled in the chemical engineering program at the University of Minnesota Duluth. He graduated summa cum laude from UMD in 1995 with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering with minors in chemistry and mathematics. He began working for Marathon Oil Company in Cotton Valley, Louisiana, as a process engineer in gas plant and field operations. Haglin has held a variety of positions in Marathon’s oil and gas businesses, including Marathon’s Yates Field Operations, EG LNG in Equatorial Guinea, support roles for exploration and business development, and engineering management based in Houston. Previously, Haglin was the Operations Manager for Marathon’s Eagle Ford operations prior to assuming the Region Manager role in Oklahoma City where he is currently responsible for Marathon’s lease operations in the state.
Haglin has been married to Lee Ann for 17 years. They like to spend free time outdoors camping with their three children. Haglin and Lee Ann have a personal interest and ministry for fostering and adoption.
