Shilpa is the CEO and Co-Founder of Caliber Resource Partners in Oklahoma City, leading their investment operations and directing the Investment Team’s engineering and returns focused approach. She is actively engaged with investment evaluation, bid management, and deal negotiations. Shilpa has cultivated relationships throughout the energy industry allowing Caliber to maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities.
Before co-founding Caliber, Shilpa was the Chief Investment Officer focusing on opportunistic capital deployment for an institutionally backed energy investment fund, with an emphasis on evaluation of prospective investments and management of existing assets. Shilpa has previously served as the Vice President of Reservoir Engineering at Warwick Energy Partners I and II in Oklahoma City and as the Senior Advisor – Reservoir Engineer at Devon Energy. At Devon she gained extensive shale experience engaging in projects which included the Barnett Shale, East Texas field, Permian Basin, Anadarko Basin and New Ventures projects. Shilpa’s oil and gas career began 30 years ago in Midland, TX with Texaco as a Field Engineer, leading ultimately to an Executive Business Analyst at the corporate headquarters in White Plains, NY.
Shilpa holds an M.S. in Environmental Engineering from Georgia Tech University and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University. She has served on the OERB Board of Directors since 2019 and also the Texas A&M Chemical Engineering Advisory Board since 2018.
