The OERB/Harlan Krumme Memorial Energy Education Grant accepts applications for funding of energy education programs that teach students about energy usage (specifically oil and natural gas), efficiency, conservation and its importance in Oklahoma state history. Our goal is to reward innovative teaching techniques and to develop energy education resources for Oklahoma educators. The grant winner will receive $500 for classroom materials and an additional $500 for personal use. Download the 2010 application here. Applicants must be Oklahoma teachers who have attended at least one of OERB’s five curricula workshops: Little Bits, Fossils to Fuel, Fossils to Fuel 2, Petro Active or CORE Energy. The deadline for 2010 application submissions is April 30, 2010, at 5 p.m.
